this may be a really dumb Q but I really want to know if it is possible to get all the possible skills for your professions throughout the game. I am a Me/E and some of the skill sellers have two skills that i want to buy but as far as I am aware you can only buy one is this correct?
therefore if I buy one of them will it be possible to get hold of the other later on in the game or somewhere else?
eg. Avenia in Maguuma Stade has Arcane Mimicry and Power Drain both of which I want.

I hope I'm answering your question correctly, but as long as you have Skill Points, you can buy multiple skills from the same trainer. In your example case, if you have 2 Skill points and enough money, you would be able to purchase Arcane Mimicry and Power Drain from Avenia.

as long as u have skill points and money, u get buy any skills. but again many skills are offered as quest rewards, so u may not need to buy them all.

thanks for that! i feel suitably dumb now. I must have thought that ever since the first time I ever bought a skill as I must have had only one skill point! I've just assumed that once you've bought one from a trainer you couldn't buy any more!

Wait a sec Becksie on the skill spending spree...like Arvydas stated, you should always look to get your skill from a quest first, otherwise you're just wasting a skill point on something you could've gotten on a quest. Before buying a skill, consult Tetris L's webpage (thx Tetris L) to see if the skill is attainable via quest:

Yeah thanks for that link. I have done all the quests on it tho so I guess i have to spend now..plus I have loads of them as I've only spent one the whole time for fear of not being able to get a certain spell! That list will tell me where to get my remaining ones from now. So thanks for all the help!
