Different Armor Appearances - Guild Wars Forums

I'm trying to figure out how many different appearances there are for armor in the game and I'm a little confused. By appearances, I mean like 15k armors and FoW armor. So far, these are the types of different armor I know about:

- Krytals desert collectors armor: It's different from regular basic armor.
- Granite Citadel armor: Has the same stats as Droknar's forge armor, but costs 15k. It's different for each type.
- Fissure armor: Has the same stats as Droknar's forge armor, but costs 15k. All types look the same.

I also might have heard that the collector's armor in the Southern Shiverpeaks looks different. If any of this is wrong or if I am missing anything, please tell me

Nope, crystal desert collector armors look exactly the same like the others

All collector's armor looks different than crafter's armor. So a piece of collector armor from the crystal desert and southern shiverpeaks will look exactly the same as each other. But a collector from the crystal desert will give you different armor (in appearance) from that bought from Droknar's forge.

Basically: there are:
crafter ass armor (this is the armor with no bonuses, leather, elementalist's, etc.)
crafter normal armor (these are the armor with bonuses, plate mail, drakescale, etc.)
collector ass armor (same stats as crafter, different appearance)
ascension armor (granite citadel/marhan's grotto sets)
Fissure armor (all types for the same profession look the same as each other)

Male Elementalist armour from collectors in the desert looks the same as that from the crafters in Droknar's Forge.
