Default Noob questions about ranger

Hi I still haven't bought the game (but that will be soon) and I have some questions

1) Can i have both kindle arrow and ignite arrow on at the same time, and is there limit how much preparations, stances,enchantments... I can have on at the same time

2) For Conjure X it says "lose all enchanments"does this apply only to enchanments or to preparations and stances too?

3) What hex spell means??

4) What are basicaly differences between preparations and stances?

I would really appreciate any help

Some I can answer:

1) If 'Kindle arrow' and 'Ignite Arrow' are two different skills, you should be able to equip both of them. I don't play a ranger so... As for limits.. not sure.

2) This only applies to enhancements as enhancements, preparations and stances are 3 different things in the game.

3) A hex (to affect as if by an evil) spell is a negative spell. Necromancers and Mesmers (I think) use hexes.

4) From the manual:

Preparation: A skill that enhances your attacks for the next few seconds. You can only have one Preparation in affect at any given time. (ahh, this answer #1)

Stance: A state of being that provides an advantage in battle, either by protecting against attacks or improving your offensive abilities.

1. only one preperation at a time, one stance at a time. as many enchantments as you want.

2. only enchantments

3. a negative spell, that can be targeted by remove/destroy hex

4. stance is instant-cast doesn't last very long. preperation is slow-casting, that lasts longer.

And for you information kindle arrow and ignite arrow are both preparations, so no you can't put them on at the same time. You can equip both but the one will cancel the other when used. Rest is pretty covered

You can use Ignite arrows/conjure flame/dual shot/tiger's fury all together though. Boom lots of damage in an area quickly.

The conjure's affect is easily bypassed by casting it *before* you cast other enchantments.
