I think that material crafters should be moved into towns/cities just as all the rest of the crafters/merchants/traders are located in them. Why should I have to waste time fighting my way through hundreds of 0XP monsters just to get to one?

Stop trying to make everything in this game so easy. Leave the material crafters were they are. It takes at most 5 minutes to run to one. They are there so that the player who takes a little more time can get the items that they need for armor a little cheaper. As for fighting through the monsters don't your a monk ranger put on the ranger running skills and mending and some protection spells and you can run through all the 0xp baddies with no trouble at all.

LOL! I stand corrected and TERRIBLY ashamed for so suggesting. It wasn't like I was daring suggest that the collectors all be moved into the cities. Sheesh!

I will make more liberal use of the one just outside Ranik.

Sorry if I came off snotty. I'm tired and ANet takes the making the game easier suggestions WAY to seriously. I mean some of them are good but maybe a difficulty slider should be added or something (like morrowind) and the higher the difficulty the better drops you get.

I wasn't offended at all. You are actually quite right. And I wonder about a difficulty slider or a 'leveled game' ala Diablo 2: LoD? First you beat it on normal, then nightmare, then hell levels. Rather than play the same game through 3 times though, perhaps GW could make areas "girly-man", "easy", "normal", "hard" and "UBER DIFFICULT"?

Oh. I usally offend people when I'm tired. Maybe make the difficulty slider so that you use the difficulty setting that is lowest in the group for the party. Also maybe make it so that you can't increase the difficulty until after you beat the game and add the players difficulty setting next to their name for quicker grouping.

The problem with it like LoD is what if you couldn't quite beat uber but hard was easy. Thats what I liked with morrowinds setting. It started at 0 difficulty and you could move the slider 100 places in either dirrection. (It might have started at 50 and you could go between 0-100 I'm not sure which).

Also for what I said about you having to beat the game maybe your account only has to beat the game not that specific character.

As for better drops just increase the percentages. Say a superior vigiors drop rate on a hydra is 1% at the most difficult its 10% but the hydra does double damage and has double health. (Or whatever buffs are decided).

There is a crafter NE of the entrance of mineral springs. I am fairly sure he crafts Damask (among lots of other goodies)
