Default Cost of armor?

I have played the game for a week now, I know the best armor is at drokners and i am currently making my way there but i would like to know in advance how much it is going to cost. I want the Best armor in the game if possible, But i want to know early to make sure i have enough when i get there.

*EDIT* For a warrior

Well, there are several places pre-Droknars to get armor, and you will be best served to get armor prior to that if you plan on serviving. In regars to your question though. The Armor at Droknars is 1.5K gold per piece x 5 = 7.5K in gold. Then there is the materials you will need based on the type of warrior armor you pick.

Best bet would be to salavage everything and make sure to keep the materials till you get your armor.

Well i bought the strategy guide and it says the best armor is Platemail armor.
If i were aiming at this what would the price be aproximately for the materials with the 7.5k just to craft. Thanks!

For Platemail, you're going to need 7.5k in gold plus 200 Iron Ingots and 32 Steel Ingots.

I don't recall what Iron is selling for, but Steel sells for 250+g per ingot (price can vary quite a bit throughout the day). Getting enough Iron should be easy via salvage. Steel may bit more difficult.

If this is your first char(and it sounds like it is) I would suggest not doing what you are proposing. Takes the fun/challenge out of it. Each new area you go to has collectors scatered around the areas that you trade items you get off mobs (in that area too) to get armor upgrades.

Ive finnished this game with 3 diff chars, it wasnt until my fourth character that i got a friend to run me to droknars so i can get my stuff. You will miss out on the adventure of collecting/trading and exploring for armor.

Sounds about right -- if you choose to buy all of the raw materials instead of salvaging drops.

there isnt a best armor for warriors... platemail is good overall as it has 85 AL versus all damage (there are exceptions) and+10 versus physical.
There are 2 others you might consider 1. gladiator has 80 armor vs all and 20+ versus psysical and also gives you more energy! Knights armor has 80 armor versus all and +10 versus physical but also has "reduces damage from attacks" where if you have at least 1 piece of that armor you get a damage reduction of 2.

So in short
Platemail best all round
Gladiators best vs Psysical and gives you extra energy
Knights always have 1 piece of this to get the damage reduction (no need to buy whole set as 1 gives the same damage reduction as a whole set.

Not unless your character is energy dependent. If that is the case, you would want to consider Gladiators A tad less armor rating, but good energy supply if your secondary needs it.

The Cur. has a "PIG" Logo, so for me i was happy to craft that Platemail Armor.

Now i have the 15k Citadel ( 4th Armor ) one, and same stats but looks better. No Pig Logo on it
