Default Question on Expert Salvage.

Alright, I have heard if you use your Expert Salvage Kit, you will gain Weapon Mod Upgrades from weapons that have them.

Lately, I have been gaining 0 mod upgrades, and every single weapon turns in common materials. Is anyone else having this problem as well? Even 1 weapon I unlocked 2 mod upgrades, and when I salvaged it, I gained 2 iron ingots? Last 20 or so weapons I have had 0 mod upgrades, and all common materials

There is a chance you will get the mod, and there is a chance you will won't and then item will become common materials. Think its a 50-50 chance of getting the mod, but I'm not sure.

If your not getting mods, then your just unlucky.

Also you cannot unlocked more then one upgrade from a mod at a time. Only one can be unlocked.

Said 2 were unlocked off of a staff I found. Not 2 Shafts or whatever, it was 1 head, and 1 shaft or w/e it is called.

Double check if you're really using an Expert Salvage Kit. Don't want to sound rude or anything but that does sound like you're using a regular one. Or maybe it's really bad luck.

I know what you said, you got two unlocked items. But if you use a Expert Salvage kit on that item, you have the chase of gaining only one of those upgrades... not both.

You can ulock both upgrades for PvP. However you can only salvage one actual upgrade. What I want to know is how do you know which MOD will be salvaged. I find all I ever get are armour MODs, even if the weapon is a weapon of fortitude.

Which mod you get is random, I tend to get armor more then weapon mods when I salvage a weapon.
