Default Smitting Warrior/Monk?

I have recently just switched from a W/n to a W/m. I was wondering, although most logically a warrior/monk with healing prayers is great (doing dmg and healing yourself), i was wondering if a SMITTING warrior monk would work too. What do you guys think? btw, can i still use monk elite skills if im a warrior primary?

You can still use monk elites even if you're a warrior primary. You just won't have access to the Divine Favor attribute line (which doesn't matter if you're doing smiting). That being said the current "craze" are monk/warrior smiters rather than warrior/monk.

Read this post on the monk/warrior smiter build if you'd like to mess around with it.

Would a warrior primary be able to smite well? I mean, don't most people take the monk primary for energy reasons?

I would never use smiting on a Warrior except for strengh of honor. You have sommething that Monks don't have better armor and better at useing weapons and strengh. It would seem to me as you don't want to get in close to fight like a Warrior it is like say can I make a Monk into a hammer K/D warrior the answer is no use your weapons like Warrior.

symbol of wraith is the only smitting skill i use on my warrior monk it works well when you get surrounded by bad guys and has a low energy cost. IMO but i aint has hard core as most people here. and dont fully understand what skills work best with what i just use what works for me.

A good competitive PvP build uses a smiting W/Mo with Strength of Honor to buff his/her melee attacks and a standard high damage warrior template.

I recommend you not use your meager mana pool for ranged smiting attacks. For PvE, though, you can do stuff like use the point-blank AoE effects and get good damage.
