Armor can be purchased from crafters with a small bit of gold and some crafting items or from a collector in exchange for a certain # of items.

Anet is considering changing armor/clothing for a future update or expansion. But as for now the only "clothing" you can see are your armor and your undies.

Well lets be nice and assume the new person is refering to the armor as clothes. I'm sure you were new once to.

Anyway, as mentioned you can craft armor. Now in pre-searing, you can't but you can get some from collectors for a second set. Post Searing ascalon, you can buy armor but that requires certain materials you will need to either find or buy. Yak's Bend, Lion's Arch and collectors along the way can provide you with more armor. Good armor can be bought at Droknar Forge as well as at Marhan's Grotto(sp) and Granite Citadel. If your running into 1.5k and 15k references in regards to armor... Droknar, Grotto and Citadel are the places those are located and refer to the cost to craft... not including the cost of materials.

good luck, have fun.
