I noticed something strange :S - Guild Wars Forums

I am using Ill Weaponry... and i saw that the speed is capped to 133% based on http://www.guildwars.com/news/gameupdates.html ... but i used flurrry (+33%) and i used IWAY after that.... and i DID attack faster.... :S.
Anyone noticed the same.... or am i just blinded by speed.... (but i really attack faster!!!)

Either they only said they changed it so people stopped trying, its just a figment of your imagination or flurry ended.

I though that the cap refered to the use of multiple speed buffs. Flurry gives you 33% and add Frenzy for an additional 33% and the maybe Rush for another 25% (Just examples not suggestions) That would give you a speed buff of 33+33+25 for about 91% increase in speed. At least I think that's how it works.

Flurry, Frenzy, and Rush are all stances, you can only be in one stance at a time so that will not give you 90% bonus to speed, IWAY is a shout so it will stack on stances, however I am not sure about the speed cap but you definately can have them both activated at the same time.

Yeah I don't see how it could be 133% additional attack speed, since most skills that increase attack speed are stances.

you start with 100%, + 33% from flurry + 33% from IWAY..... = 166%
I think that is true (site says 133% is max, maybe they mean per stance/shout 33% is max increase :S
