Default Kiting?

What is it, and how does it apply to PvE / Farming. I belive it has something to do with running and getting the mobs to follow, allowing your DoT (poison) to work its wonders. Am I wrong?

Thanks in advance....

That might be true, but I also heard it mentioned together with healing monks.

It has something to do with running around I think, but not only degen.

Is it simply filling out your role while staying out of harms way?

I've seen it referenced with Hydra farming, harming one, run around looking the fool for a while, wait for it to die, hit the next one, repeat...who knows. Seems to me, that farming like that would take too long to make it worthwhile.

To "Kite" just means to Run or Strafe so you don't take dmg.

Theres several situations where it is applied.
