if u use for example a wand with blood magic +1(20%) and a focus with blood +1(20%), will you get blood +2 (20%) of blood +1 (40%)?

2 times blood magic +1 ?

that would be um 44% chance of getting 1 extra blood magic

120% + 20% = 144%

it IS possible to get +2 to attribute this way, the chance is 4% = 20%*20%

Wrong. The game treats each 20% separately. When you cast a Blood spell:

First test: you have a 20% chance to get +1 (1st success) and an 80% chance not to (1st failure).

Second test: you have a 20% chance to get +1 (2nd success) and an 80% chance not to (2nd failure).


Chance to get +2: .20 (1st success) * .20 (2nd success) = .04 = 4% chance
The only way to get this is by succeeding both tests.

Chance to get +1: .20 (1st success) * .80 (2nd failure) + .80 (1st failure) * .20 (2nd success) = .32 = 32% chance
To just get a +1, you either succeed the first test and fail the second, or fail the first and succeed the second.

Chance to get +0: .80 (1st failure) * .80 (2nd failure) = .64 = 64% chance
Of course, you could just fail both and get nothing.

Nope, just focii and shields, but I was looking more at the mathematical part than the item part, since it's possible to have two fast cast mods.
