Question Ale in pre?

Where do you get ale in pre? I have seen some people selling it in pre but could not find where i have explored every nook and cranny in GW in pre and could not find anything.

There's a group of bear hunters southwest of Fort Ranik. They give you a quest to kill a bear and you get ale as a reward.

Above is true. It is called Hunter's Ale. In post you can only get Dwarven Ale. Both have the same effects, so it doesn't really matter. There are 2 bears I think, so for every run you make to the place, you can get two ales.

So can you do it over and over again? because you said, "for every run you make to the place you can get 2 ales." so i was wondering if you can do that again, again and again.

Yes, it's repeatable - thats how those people selling Hunter's ale are getting the ale to sell. They go there, do the bear run for their 2 ale's..then warp back to Fort Ranik and repeat.. then sell ale's.

Is it worth bothering with though? Doesn't it do the same as the absinthe from Halloween; just make the screen a little blurry for 10 secs?

They sell tham to newbies for a good profit (not everyone knows about that quest).

Eggnog & Spike Eggnog do the same effect from Winterfest. You get a "special" effect when you take one of each type one right after the other.
