Default Stacking Warrior Runes???

I noticed most of the runes now say "non-stacking". The Warrior Rune of Minor Absorption doesnt say this. Anyone know if you can stack this one? Also it says "Absorbs 1 Damage Per Attack". Does it only absorb damage when that "one piece" of Armor is struck? One last thing. I have a Gladiator helm that has Tactics +1 on it & it says "stacking", but if you buy the minor tactics rune at the trader it says "non-stacking". Could some one please explain this to me? Thanks for your help, I know its a lot of questions!

Runes stack with headgear, but runes don't stack with each other.

Does that just men you can apply more than one rune on headgear? Would they have to be different types of runes (i.e. Tactics & Strength, etc)? Just wondering if I can still add runes to my helm since the Tactcs +1 rune says"stacking". Thanks.

- Runes don't stack with each other
- Absorbtion Runes DO stack with knights/ascalon as well as shields.
- Runes DO stack with headgear
- You can only equip 1 rune per piece of armor, and none in shields or focii.

So yes, if you put a Minor Rune of Tactic's into a Ascalon Helm, which is +1 Tactics, you'd get +2 Tactics when you put the helm on

Thanks. I think I finally have it. If this isnt correct, let me know & I'll edit my post.

1. I could place an absorption rune on each pice of armor & they all would work, but only one rune on each piece.

2. I can put another +1 Tactics rune on my Gladiator Helm, which already has +1 Tactics, but can only add one & it has to be a Tactics rune.

3. Absorption Runes only actually absorb damage on the piece its applied to, not all pieces of armor.

Cool, thanks again.

1. You'd only get the effect from ONE of the runes, and that being the rune of the highest effect.

ie if you put on a minor, major and a superior rune of absorbtion you would ONLY get the benefit of the Superior rune. The major and the minor would be wasted..

- Runes of the same type/attribute don't stack with each other.

2. you can put any rune into the helm. The only restriction is you can only use runes of YOUR main profession.

If your a W/R you can equip a Rune of Absorbtion, but not a Rune of Marksmenship.. as Marksmenship is a ranger attribute.

- You can put runes of any type in headgear, as long as it's of your main profession, even if the attribute it raises is different to the headgear.

IE Minor Rune of Axe Mastery in a Gladiator's Helm will give you +1 Tactics from the helm mod and +1 Axe Mastery from the Minor Rune of Axe Mastery.

3. Absorbtion is a global effect.

- It doesn't matter where you put the absorbtion runes, they are global in effect and will reduce damage on ALL atatck's no matter where the attack lands.

IE stick a minor rune of absorbtion into your boots.. and then get wacked by a grawl in the arm's, that damage will be reduced by 1 point.. as per what the absorbtion rune does (-1 damage reduction).

I don't know if one and twoo are correct. They used to not be. I really don't want to start this debate again but, it is weird that absorption runes don't say anything about stacking.

Will people quit saying that? Armor and rune absorption is the same as it's been since nearly forever.
