Dyeable Weapons - Guild Wars Forums

Hey Me again.

Does anyone know which weapons are dyeable? I have seen threads regarding crystalline swords being dyed, but when I tried to dye my Staff nothing happened. (i can hear everyone muttering, but i just wanted to see if I could make a fire staff red)

So is it only the uber swords that can be dyed?

anything can be dyed just some times you will not be able to see much of a difference, things like crisom caprace shields dye really well but staffs dont really

Green Weapons/Items cannot be dyed.

I tried using red dye but had no visible changes. Would using dye remover make any difference?

I don't think everything can be dyed. I wasn't able to dye a Shield of Wing, but was able to dye a Skull Shield. Both were just standard normal shields. When trying to dye the Shield of Wing, nothing happened and the dye stayed in my inventory.

If the dye disappeared from your inventory, then the change may just be too small to be noticed. I doubt using dye remover will make much of a difference.

for weapons a lot of the times its just the hilt
