Default How Do Low-Lvl's Have Money to Be Run?

So I'm trying to figure out how the low level people can have enough money to get run all over the map. I thought of a few hypotheses: Get a Guildmate to give you the money or have a GM hold some of your money from another character then give it back to you with your new character. Really that's all I can think of. Are there other ways to go into post with a ton of cash? What about spending all of your money to buy black dyes in pre then selling in post?

Because your higher level character can deposit money into storage which all your characters can see, giving you the option to withdraw on any character for a fee of 50 gold to the Xunlai Agent.

There's loads of free runners in towns also, people trying their build out and taking people with them for free. We refused to help my brother get though the game the running way, but somehow he managed to get run to the best armor places without having any cash (and not scamming runners).

I can understand your question though - first char through, get to Beacons+ and see people paying 1k+ for runs and you look at your inv and think "Now where did they get money to just throw away like that...". If I hadn't started when the game was released I would have been in the same boat as you! As Effendi said, the popular areas will always have someone running for free or tips, you just have to wait a few extra minutes. No sense in paying for an outrageous run if you wanted one.

Yeah man,
It's really quite simple.

All the money that you put into storage on your ele is saved into storage and spread out between any and all characters you so wish to use.

The down side of that...

It also splits the minimal space you have for materials/etc...

So at Lvl 1 you can get ran to Forge, grotto, citadel, etc... and buy 15k armour...

I've done it, lol

I honestly thought the same thing when I was new... I would run people from Ascalon to Yaks from like lvl14 - lvl18 to make money, I never understood why people even wanted this, I always thought it was silly but if someone wanted to pay me to do it, I was good to go..

Now I realize the sci behind this.

Didn't get ran further then LA though. ^^ And im repaying favors in my own way now, running people for free trying out builds for running and all that. Yesterday I had my first trail run to Yaks from Piken. Only problem was Diessa Lowlands where, it seems, a wrong turn is quickly made. After Greendich it was a clean run to Yaks.

im glad to say i only run my second char becose i wanted to try this way of power leveling ... made a minium master that way . my first char did everything the old fashion way , still find places ive never seen before , and still need to de some UW , FISS , SORROW and 50 k TITAN ... i think factions will come out before i have done all those.
conclusion if playing the game the normal way you can miss some parts of it , imagine if you run the game . you lose about everything.

Yeah..pretty much if you want money to be ran somewhere, as you get to post..since for some odd reason, based on word of mouth, pre has alot more dye drops seemingly, you could always stay in pre for awhile, collecting and selling dyes to people for good amounts. Like a friend of a friend staying in pre till they earned 6 black dyes and finally left at level 17 O_x. As for me way back then, when I had my first character, Lil Red Head, I had been seeing people advertising runs to etc. etc. And me not wanting to pay, of course I gnored paying for anything, since I was broke to begin with, but if I saw a free run to the next city I needed, I took it without knowing really what to do :/ *hangs head in shame* Heck..I got about 4-5 places I got run to..even got a Droknar's run for free the first time I ever started playing..didn't even find out about ascension for a LONG time after. lol. But anyways, if you want a run, there's always going to be people offering, yep, can't deny that. Though it's REALLY a good idea NOT to get a run if you want to understand things lol.

i dont like the running aspect of the game now....i kno all the paths and stuff are put there for a reason but i think it just screwed every1 lmao. Thers lots of people who get run who are on their second char but i dont think thats a good reason to get ran everywere...i got the game on the day of release and it was awesome every1 lvl 4 or 5 trying to do first missions etc no invinci builds or nething just people playin the game the good old fashion way actualyl following the storyline. I think its much better that way more new players come and think running is how its supposed to be done...i say stop lettin people profit from your laziness

You ever try doing every mission/bonus/quest...the second time around all that talking and no mouth moving really gets to you. But yea I wish they would have not made the storage across accounts. Or done something...be it blocked paths or incentives to actually do the missions on each character, though how they would stop it from becoming a grind I ono.

I don't know, to me being run is wasting in-game money for the purpose of wasting real money (skipping content that I paid for). I just don't know why the late-game is so much more fun than the early game such that everyone wants to skip the early game and play the late game over and over again.

I can imagine why people dont want to wait untill they get to Droks for a better armour on their 4th char. All the runs I got was bascily cus they were free and after the run I traveled back and played the game the normal way (I have to admid I picked up a LA armour along the way, because it just looked better).

"For Ascalon!"
"Does that hurt, beast? Good!"

And so on and so forth.
