i promise i know what im doing with GW, just never cared enough to take the time to try it out or find out.

what is up with weapon dying? can you only dye pre-order items but not any others (save armor of course)... i think that's it, but ive heard people say other things... again, sorry to sound n00b, just thought i would make sure im not mistaken.

Nah, you can dye many other weapons. The thing is that some show dyes very well some don't. Some won't even take a dye. You just have to experiment.

Example; short sword/gladius skin dyes very well on the hilt. Chaos axe has a funny dye pattern but is great for dying.

Fellblade will take a dye but shows very little change in the skin.

It's a weird system???

ok, thx... good to know... now i just have to find somewhere to store a low dmg no good version of every skin for dye testing
