Default Dungeons?

I just got Guildwars last night and I was wondering, is there any Dungeon's in Guildwars?

I love dungeons and am hoping GW has some and they are soloable with henchmen.

I don't think there are many dungeons if at all that is. Most of the environs in GW are open spaces. If they are enclosed it is typically a very large enclosed space (Sorrows Furnace comes to mind).

Not as such.... there is sorrow's furnace and some caves, but no actual dungeons in the "classical" sense.

sorrow's furnance and catacomb of the pre-searing is the "dungeon" of GW as of now... It won't be true in 1 month and 14 days.

there are no dungeons in the traditional sense. however, there are a few high level areas (underworld, fissure of woe, sorrow's furnace, tomb of primeval kings) that can be considered dungeon-like in the rpg sense. you enter these places with the hopes of clearing it and getting good item drops. they are not integral to the story, but are more like "extra" areas.

Looks like Ch2 would have lots of closed areas.

Since everything is instanced, the whole game is basically like a dungeon
