With an elementalist you can solo farm the regions around lions arch.
It will give you 3 or 4 k a run, (more if golds are dropped)
You wont find much mx dmg weapons though, but mx upgrades can drop.

its easy farming, i got my 15K armor this way.

Agreed, and it's not only for farming. Tell me how much time did you spend to get in a party doing mission or quest? If you're monk, you won't be waitinig a single second. The problem is that when you are healer you get nothing from the story line, cos observing red bars and compas is everything you do.

I'm pretty sure that solo farming with an elementalist is slower than with other professions, although I'm not sure because that's all I've played up to a high level.

Well, elementalists rock in Scoundrel's Rise, but that's an exception. Usually the regen on your energy is a time-killer.

I still haven't successfully soloed all the Luxon Settlement Ettins yet. The closest I came was killing all except the boss with a build that only had Stone Daggers and Aftershock for damage. It turns out this isn't enough to kill him.

Talking Strongest Farmer

I have a Lvl 20 Ele who uses fire spells only. This is my farmer. She can do Ettin runs solo and move quickly from one group to the next because of quick recharge. If using spell casters make sure to equip a weapon or artifact that halves your recharge time. These are only a 5 to 20 percent chance but they can be a life saver. Area spells can be great in farming but don't waste them on individuals.

if your a good mm necro can be one of the most profitable things in the game a thirsty river soloer makes average 5k per person at 5 slots so 30k in about 30 mins vs droks runs now worth 2k per person 10k for an hours worth of running, the most profitable i think is a m/r runner down in southern silverpeaks averaging
10k per person so 70k for 1 1/2 hours worth of work
