Duration of 1 ale? - Guild Wars Forums

Hey i want to work towards the Incorrigable Ale drinkers title and since my character hasnt been much of a drinker i want to know how long 1 ale costs. I will always play drunk till i get the title, i want to know the duration of each ale so i know how much ale to buy and how much it will cost. 10000 minutes drunk will be expensive indeed, but in the end ill be proud.

I myself am going for the Drunkard title, and it's actually 1000 minutes for first rank, i dunno if there's even a second rank or not, but im goin for it on my warrior, im close to 300 minutes. Ive noticed that spiked eggnogs are the best beer ya can get, they last for 3 minutes each. One ale lasts around 30 seconds if not a bit more, my friend said 5 ales make you drunk for 3 minutes. Well goodluck getting the title, hope this helped some, its a lotta time to put into it, but it'll be worth it. People will look at us as the stupid idiots that everyone laughs at because we have the title, and we spent a ton of money on it, lol. I've only spent 7k so far to get to around 300 minutes, i bought 50 spiked eggnogs for 7k, and i had around 50 in my inventory, 100x3=300...so yeah..i'm still chugging them down in my guild hall everynight til my CE factions comes in someday. Well goodluck man, like said, ale maybe around a half minute or a lil more.

Start a character in Pre and do the Bear fighters quest alot and get 2-3 ale per spawn depending on how many bears spawn. The quests resets after a couple of minutes.

All beverages are the same drunk time >_< (i've been doing Drunkard title stuff, and Spiked Eggnog acts the same as every other ale for me...)

There are 3 "levels" of drunk.

From Totally Sober, It takes 3 ales to get you to the level 1 drunk, then the next two you drink are lvl2 and lvl3 drunk respectively. (This is why it takes 5 ales to get 3 minutes of drunk, the first 2 just are to make you drunk ,and the last three are actually lvling up your drunkeness).

Each lvl of Drunk wears off in a minute, giving you 1 minute of drunk time.

Once you hit 3 minutes of drunk time (watch your title screen) - Quickly drink 3 more ales to bump your drunk lvl back up to 3 and wait 3 minutes again. Repeat til out of ales.

If you accidently dont check at 3 minutes, you'll let those first two "get you drunk" ales wear off - and you have to waste more ale replacing them before you can get drunk again.

Hmm, if this is true, how have I had one ale last, or add 5 minutes to my Drunkard title?

You were probably already drunk?

I dont know, but my statement there and tests were posted awhile ago by someone that was already a drunkard by like day 3-4 of factions, and I used them to get some of my own drunk time, and its held TOTALLY true for me.

Right down to how many ales will give how many minutes of drunk time.

What are typical player trade prices for beverages? Is the 140 figure common? And where would one sell them?
