Hi guys,

I'm a new player. I've chosen the assassin route. I'm doing the assassin insignia mission but I'm well stuck on the Dis-enchantment part.

I cast the spell to stop the NPC's enchantments and then proceed to attack, but the guy whoops me before the spell re-charges and no matter what combination of attacks I use I just die really quickly. It seems he deals a lot of damage really quickly. I guess I'm doing something wrong as this would be a major bug!!

Any help would be greatly appreciated

what level are you? and did you replace that low lvl begginers armor you start with?

and are you using any self healiing at all? if not i recomend youdo, and what is your secondary? i recomend to use it. if its warior or ranger, use stances

Yes I'm still using the starting the Armour so thats something to look at I suppose doh!

I'm Level 7, the problem is the Expunge enchantments disables everything but attack skills for 9 seconds, in that time he deals a lot of damage. I've tried using distracting blow, and using that time to heal.

I've found the stances not much use, as I've only got defensive stance, balanced stance, frenzy and sprint (secondary is warrior)

Lets hope an armor upgrade works

the quest isn't bugged... i did this quest a couple weeks ago on my Assassin and had no problems with it

i had a hard time with my monk so i just used only mesmer skills
