Default Armor update?

My question is, when will Guild Wars update your exsisting armors, I would really like to have my armor updated and not have to buy 6 15k sets again to get the new stats... it's getting so that I feel like I must buy new armor and Guild Wars might not do the armor update.

The new armour update (when it comes) will be free for people wishing to upgrade their current armour

A small cost to do so i can handle, but i'm getting f*cking sick of waiting for it now. WHAT THE HELL IS TAKING THEM SO LONG!

Honestly do they actually know how to update the old armours? Or do they even intend to? Sounds to me like its both, they don't have a frigging clue how to implement it and they won't anyway. Its been how long since the Factions release now? A month? If they had even the slightest care for people who've been playing for months before that, they'd have had this update first on there list of things to do.

just be patient, its planned for 'the near future,' some people are discouraged by a month not being considered 'the near future,' but if you really wish to have such updates in short amounts of times while they are busy fixing bugs with faction missions, quests, and skills, then you should go pay $15 a month for WOW. Imo, the armor updates are not so incredibly significant that we need to complain about it when its only been a month.

Again, be patient

The armor fix is something that ArenaNet should deffinatly take their time to fix.

Why? Because it has a huge potential of making things go very bad. For example, they could become "decustomized" making the armor worthless. Runes could get deleted, dyes could get deleted, armors could be replaced with the wrong stats, some might get the correct upgrades, while others dont. A lot of things could go wrong, and I for one don't want my Fissure armor to get ruined.

They are working on it trust me, but at the same time they are working on various other stuff correcting bug and exploites and of the sorts so please show some patients as the life of a dev is not a very easy one. You will get the armor change crafter in due time so please bare with them.

Im not sure on this one, it would seem as you could just change all of the armors we have to the standard they have now, but i would think they might have bugs causeing armors to be deleted etc. But then i look at the 40% axe and thry sure as hell removed that quick.

What did they decide 5 minutes before they released the new Factions updates onto the servers "Hey i know, lets give all ele armours +10 to elements and change some warrior armour"?
No somehow i think this may have been planned before in advance, so not only have they had 1 month to fix bugs/exploits they've had at least 6 weeks to fix the bug with the frigging armour. I was patient 2 weeks ago, now i think they're just useless.

I'm going with Stockholm, they should have Chapter 3 ready in time for the update to the armour. So far i've heard nothing about progress or an estimated time for the update. In the near future means they don't have a clue and probably haven't even started working on a solution.

yeah I know what you mean, 40% gone fast...

nice to see everyone opinion on this. I am kind of losing my patients just because anyone with armor crafted after the update has an edge on your armor. it's not fair and should be adresssed ASP IMO.
