Default A question about Tyrian cartography.

I'm curious-to get 100% map completion in Tyria, do you have to explore all the areas or Fow and UW?

Thanks

No, only places that you can actually see when you bring up the world map via M

Check out the various threads in the Tyrian Explorer League section on these forums and look at the maps from people like TC Fish and Leighwyn, that will help you a lot.

Make sure you wall hug each area you are in as going back again to find those missing tiny tiny clouded areas afterwards is a huge pain!

Also, when you get to around 95%+, don't fall into the trap of thinking that there must be a big single area that you have missed. It is much more likely that you will have missed dozens of small pieces scattered all over the map.

Good luck, and dont get disheartened when you reach 98-99% and think "There is nothing more for me to find!" Lots of us have been there, and you do find it all eventually!
