i was wondering where i could find ids as a drop?

I believe the answer is is the sticky under that FAQ, the search and on wiki.

The only place that the IDS drops is from Lyssa's Cave to the far North East of Mineral Springs.

Wa/me is more common I believe, look it up here on the Farming board.

its more like a w/me build.... i heard this build works after the update in the winter that nerfed the solo farm...

W/Me
Executioners Strike
Penetrating Chop
Healing Signet
Watch Yourself
Doylak Signet
Elemental Resistance
Sprint
Charge

Try it if it still works... the nerf isn't in getting to the cave but inside the cave. The ice golems cast rust which owns your heal signet spamming. If you can stay away from them then watch out for the mountain trolls that disrupting and disable your heal sig. If you can get past them the ice imps that drop the Icy Dragon Swords are easy.
