Default The Best Smite Weapons Now

I have searched for the best smite weapon etc, and have some ideas.
But with the introduction of nightfall, and different builds and updates i thought it was worth asking for a more up to date answer.

All the below is related to pve

I have an ascended monk with droks ascetics, major vigour and minor runes of each attribute with and an extra cap zealot cap with a sup smiting rune.
I tried being a healing monk for awhile, but, its just not me.
I bought the scar eater and its a good staff, but i prefer killing stuff.

My monk will prolly be used to pvp later, when i am more experienced, but for now it is essentially a farmer.
I'm working on builds and have designed a good build i use for the undead.

Anyways i think thats enough background.
So what is the best smiting staff or weapon combo i should be using?
I'm sure later for the more difficult areas i will prolly get a sword combo, rajerzans i think its called.
Or maybe i should get the sword now...i don't know...lol.

Sorry for the ramble, your suggestions will be appreciated

wow, another smiter. on mine i use full ascetics, with sup smite as well. i use a 20/20 smiting rod and a shens censure (+12 energy, HSR of smite 20%, and +1 smite prayers 20%). it works well.

edit: i wouldnt recommend going sword. your still a monk with low armor, and plus the light damage from the smite rod can be useful in some areas.

I use Ivor's Smiting Rod + Shen's Censure with a Totem Axe + Shen's Censure in an alt slot.

Thank you for the help guys.
Yes i know another Smiter, will wonders ever cease.
In my opinion there is still a place for smiting monks, and i am really enjoying it.
I'm doing a lot of experimenting atm and will play around with a 55,135 etc etc set up a bit later.
Ive decided to get the Ivor's Smiting Rod & Shen's Censure set up.
Plus i will also get Kepkhet's Revenge, as it also suits a few particular requirements i need for a build i use atm.

Thanks again
