Daggers have the same attack speed as swords and axes, but double striking makes it look faster.

To be precise:

Axe=Sword=Dagger: 1.33 Seconds

Spear: 1.5 Seconds

Hammer=Scythe: 1.75 Seconds

Bows: 2 Seconds and above, dependant on type.

Daggers being used at 16 dagger mastery have a full 33% (not 32%, as there is an inherent 1% chance even at 0 mastery,) chance of double strikes, which gives them an average attack speed of 1 second.

The sword is slightly faster than an axe and the scythe is slightly slower than the hammer.

That depends entirely on your level of Dagger Mastery. To be honest, the only correct post in this thread was the one made by Moa Bird Cultist.

(except the one by Yanman, but that didn't give specifics :P)
