Default Is this possible in Pre-searing?

I partied up with an elementalist to go charr hunting in pre-searing, then suddenly saw him using Stone Daggers and Ward Against Harm.
Is this possible? x_x

If you saw it, it must be possible.

Yeah, should've taken a screenie. I was wondering if it was some sort of Collector's Edition or Pre-order special.

I know the GoTY edition came with 8 skills for each profession one of which, was elite.

Might have had that.

No this is not possible plan and simple as those skills aren't availble. The only way that this could of happened was when the exploit to the Guild Hall was avaible in pre.He stayed logged in long enough to get someone to take him to get stone daggers and cap Ward Against Harm where ever that is must be in the South Peaks. That s how he was able to get these skills and has been in pre since then.

(When you could still do this)

1) Unlock core skill in PvP
2) Travel to Guild Hall
3) Buy skill from skill trainer
4) Own

You used to be able to do this, but it's been fixed for quite some time. You could start to make a pvp char, put desired skills on the character, back button to start a new PvE char, and the created character would have the skills from what you put on the PvP bar.

I know there are a few MM in Pre with Animate because of this.

You're confusing Prophecies with Factions. Pre-searing doesn't exist in Factions.

Not at all, but when Factions was released, it introduced a bug in PvP/PvE creation that allowed you to create a character with a full compliment of skills in presearing - Basically, it was along the lines of roll a PvP character, then when you get to the name entry, cancel out and roll a PvE. That character then started with the skill template you picked in PvP creation.

I do know that the elementist outside Foible's Fair in Pre-Searing uses Ward against Harm ( elite ).
But sounds like someone abused some bug/exploit if its a player with those skills in pre-searing.
Cause it shoulden't be possible

wait, I remember a bug where you could take your Pre Searing character to your Guild Hall. If that person had unlocked those skills they could have purchased them from the guild skills vendor. Not sure if they were available during that time, though.

If not that, then they took advantage of the Factions character spawn glitch. I can't think of any other way they could have done this.

I already said that and for ward agianst harm you would have to cap it near copperhammer mines meaning someone ran him while being logged in all that time.
