Is this choice of Professions good overall. I just got the game and I want to choose 2 professions that are good to play with and fun to play with, and will hopefully benefit me in most sircumstances.. Thx Much

Well, It all depends on your skill combinations, use skills from warrior and skill such as conjure flame/frost/lightning to increase the damage by about 15, it is quite effective.
Try to use Enchantment spells from Ele due to the lack of energy and energy recovery.
But... i am not much of a PvPier, so i cannot provide further details
