Default Regarding Favor and HA

I apologize in advance if my question has already been asked and answered before.

I've just started getting into PVP [I have 2 fame, woot] and was wondering how the favor system works in HA when a player forms a group in the International Districts?

If the group leader is from Europe, does that mean that your group is representing Europe? Does the region your group is representing depend on the amount of total players from any one region?

It's kind of confusing and I'm not exactly understanding how it works. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance to any responses

A while back there was a screenshot of 2 consecutive win announcements by one party. However despite them being consecutive, they won favor for different regions.

I think it works by counting towards whichever server most of the people are from, and if its a tie then its the party leaders region. Then the explanation for the above example is that they lost someone between their wins.

No, It's the party leader region, and it will always be the leader name. Even if for example, party is like this:

John
Carl

and in UW,and other maps says Carl's team, when you win halls, it will be Johns team has won a battle.

No the majority of the people have to be from one region for that group to be considered from the region and it does not always have to be the leader
Example: Party List
Player 1 (American)
Player 2 (European)
Player 3 (Japanese)
Player 4 (American)
Player 5 (European)
Player 6 (European)
Player 7 (European)
Player 8 (European)

Even though the leader is American the group would be a European group and when you face the group you will see that the group is being lead by Player 2.
