Default Multi-player Options....Help

I am new here and mainly play PVE Prophecies. I don't understand when you need to team up with other actual people. Are you suppose to go on quests together or just hunt monsters??? Are you suppose to team up with players of the same level?? I would like to team up w/ people instead of using the boring henchmen. Please someone give me a general idea of how this works.

Thanx

You can team up with humans as much or as little as you want. If you want to hench your way through the entire game, that's one possibility. Or, if you want to team up with humans for the entire thing, that works too. Henchmen can also be used to fill empty spots if you don't have enough people to do something with.

As for teaming up with the same level, that is also up to you. Some people like nearby levels so that one person doesn't just go on a charr killing rampage, while others like help from a high level, experienced player. It's all up to you.

Welcome to GW! Hope you're enjoying it.

It's always more interesting (can be fun, can be a pain) playing with others. Teaming up with people is something usually done for doing quests and Missions. You'll find that the rewards in XP for doing these things will get your character leveled up much faster than just going out and killing things. And it's much easier to get into groups with people who are also trying to get that quest or Mission done. (Just look for the "LFG" messages in chat - or use the Party search feature, which, sadly, not enough people use.)

You can party up with people of any level, but I would recommend grouping up with people close to your own level when going through the game. A level 20 can easily do the first several missions without any help at all and you won't learn how to play your character & skills.

If you've got any other questions or want some help with a mission, feel free to PM me in-game. I'll be happy to help out. One of my IGNs is Chanti Beppu.
