Post Stuck in Frost Gate

I'm a Canthan trying very hard to reach Ascalon, so far I've made it to Frost Gate, but I can't seem to be able to go any futher. Anyone know if there's a way to reach Ascalon from there? Could there be an easier way? I've shouted in Lion's Gate for tips but all they said was to get a runner, but I'm in no way rich enough to get one T_T(<--only got 800 gold >.>). Any suggestions or tips would be hugely appreciated.

If I remember right, you need to leave Frost Gate via the exit you entered from and backtrack until you get the oppurtunity to head North again. Careful though, the Summit luuuuuuuuurve Pin Down. >_>

The easiest route might be: LA ---> Gates of Kryta ---> Griffons Mouth explorable ---> north east to Deldrimor explorable ---> north east to Beacon's Perch then go back out to Deldrimor ---> mostly north to Anvil Rock explorable ---> north ---> Ice Tooth Cave outpost then back out to Anvil Rock north then east ---> Iron Horse Mine explorable ---> southeast ---> Traveler's Vale explorable north east ---> Yaks Bend (you can skip if you want since Nolani Academy will bring you back here) or south east ---> Ascalon Foothills explorable ---> south east to Diessa Lowlands explorable ---> South east ---> The Breach explorable ---> east to Ascalon City ---> north inside city to Northern Wall (first mission)

I just did this run 3 times recently out of boredom for my foreigners... takes about half hour or if you fight, 45 minutes.

Ya, you have to go north of Beacon's Perch and then East...

The western entrance of Beacon's, travel North then East, you eventually make to Traveler's Vale area...

You could always make a couple of runs through the Fire Imps, Tengu, and Ettins right outside the gate of Lion Arch and make a few K in about 45 minutes or so, then you could pay for a runner.
