canceling account - Guild Wars Forums

does anybody know where to go to cancel your gw account? i cant find it on the log in screen.

1. Click the button in the top right corner that looks like this: [x]

2. Go to Control Panel, Add or Remove Programs, Guild Wars, OK.

3. Forget your login and password.

4. All done!

You cannot cancel your account. Just uninstall the game. If you ever want to play again, just download the agent again.

If you want to cancel to allow you to sell the game, it is not allowed. Once a key is registered to an account, it can never be registered to a different account.

Don't forget, GW is not pay to play, so there is no reason to cancel your account like in a traditional MMORPG.

Yeah why are you wanting to cancel your account anyway? And any donated items would be appreciated, especially as I need to upgrade the GH ^^

If you somehow ended up with someone else's account (whether a friend gave you it or you bought it), the only way to wipe it is to delete all the existing characters.
