Default Drop Rate Party Size Question - Non Attacking

Question: Is the drop rate adjusted for the number of party members that should be allowed in one area? For example. Last night I was playing in Plains of Jarin and I had drops all over the place with four people (1 human). I then did Cliff of Dohjak this morning with 8 people (I left from Blacktide Den), and I almost had no drops at all.

I know over the night the drop code was changed, but I'm curious if the change I experienced was becasue I was overloading the area with more people then "designed" or if the code was just that vastly different.

I am playing in Hard Mode doing Vanquisher, i am not farming - Just trying to kill everything

Yes, it is adjusted. That makes Ascalon and such a better place to pick up raw gold.

Could you be a little more specific as to what you mean by "Ascalon and such", I dont follow the boards very much and with all the 'hate' spewing over the nerf i'd rather just have an understanding of how it is different rather then having to read threw all of the mess of the last few days.
