Smile Is this possible??

Hi Guys. I have only recently bought prophecies and am doing the first few missions. When my guild is not online I am using henchmen to help me but they arn't very good. I know that in Nightfall you can hire henchmen that lvl up and can be customized. Is it possible if I bought nightfall to get a group of these henchmen and then go back to prophecies and carry on the quests or do u need to complete prophecies before you can get to the nightfall land? or is there some other reason why this can't be done?

thanks alot

Anthony

1. Please Edit that so it doesn't make my eyes hurt so much
2. Nightfall henchmen that are customisable are called heroes
3. You will need to buy Nightfall if you wish to get heroes
4. Heroes can be used almost everywhere, on any continent
5. If you get to Kryta (its the green bit on your world map left of the mountains and right of the jungle (don't panic if you are unsure where it is, it doesn't matter too much), you can travel to the other continents you have unlocked (if you have Nightfall you can travel to Elona (the 'Nightfall' land), and therefore get heroes.
6. 2 heroes are not found in Elona (well, 3 if you include Razah, but lets ignore him for now), which are 1 of the Necromancer heroes, Olias (located in Lion's Arch, Tyria), and the Assassin hero, Zenmai (located in Kaineng Centre, Cantha). If you have Nightfall, you can get these heroes if you get to them and do their 'recruitment' quest. These 2 heroes do not require being in Elona, only the possession of Nightfall.
7. Normal henchmen are really quite good. Often, people blame them for dying and that, but it is often their fault. Use henchmen and enjoy.

In nightfall u get heroes which are mouch like henchman but they are customizable.U can change their skill bars, weapons and attributes and yes once u get your heroes from nightfall u can use them anywhere but u can only have 3 heroes with u the rest must be henchmans.U can complete all misions in Tyria with heroes+henchmans.

That's not true anymore, they changed the quests. To get Zenmai you start the quest in Consulate Docks, then go to Kaineng Center, then Bukdek Byway, then The Undercity. To get Olias you get the quest in Consulate Docks, then to Lion's Arch, then Bloodstone Fen.

Another thing, you can only add up to 3 of your own heros to the party. So when you come to an area where the max party number is 8 you can bring up to 3 heros and 4 henchmen or if your teaming with another player you can each bring 3 heros etc, hope that helps

YES!

1. Buy Nightfall (and integrate it to your existing account)
2. Just go to Lion Arch and you will see a message when you can now talk to Lionguard Figo for go to Elona (Nightfall land)
3. You can now get some Heroes (customizable henchmen) there, in Elona, also one Necromancer Hero (Olias) in Lion Arch without even need to go to Elona.
4. All heroes will be available in Prophecies too.
5. and .. this is exactly you want to know! right?

Man, the last sentence was wierd, however, isn't this a little harsh. He used periods and everything.

To elaborate a bit on this for the OP, the town is called Lion's Arch. I won't say anymore as to not spoil it if you haven't got there yet. Also, if you are really in a hurry to get heroes, you can have someone "run" you to Lion's Arch from as early as Ascalon. There are usually people spamming with a willingness to run to Lion's Arch if you go to Ascalon, or any other major city on the way (for a fee of course). From there, as marty said, you can get the quest that takes you to Elona (nightfall). Personally I would practice with henchies until I got to Lion's arch, however, it is obviously your choice. If you have any questions PM me in game. Welcome to guru...

Yeah, best bet (if you want to spend money) is get Nightfall, so you can get all the Heroes and make playing Prophecies easier

You should be wary of this thou ... since you are new to game (it looks like it), there is huge chance that you will be customize your heroes badly so that they would be even worse than henchies.

It also requires to have some money or succesfull pvping to get heroes some extra skills to be able to take advantage of their customizability. (not mentioning quite a sum of money to get em good equipment, but thats secondary concern)
Henchmen have decent builds which usually work good enough.

Hi guys.

Thankyou all for your replies. I know the structure of my questions didn't make it easy but the answers were all very helpful and give me alot of options. I think I'll carry on without Nightfall for now, or at least until I reach Lions Arch. Can't wait till I get there. I've heard good things about it It's good to know what I wanted to do is possible tho.

cheers

Anthony
