Default pet atack speeds

yeah so my ranger caped this bear but when i tried pvp with him he attacked really slow. not only did he attack really slow but also he has this brutal mauling 3 second lasting bear skill he spams all the time that delays your attack skills you tell him to do making him really bad interrupter. i was just curious as to whether this pet was slower than the rest and whether there was one with more inate attack .speed

He is slower than the rest. Bears are the only pet that is not equal to all the others. Any other pet would be better, they are all equal (except for damage type, which doesn't really matter much anyways) except for bear. The only thing that bears are good for is paragons, which a paragon with a pet is pretty bad anyways. It also would be a lot better to PvP with a PvP character...

Because they've never removed Brutal Mauling from bears, they are a disadvantage in PvP. They're normal attacks are the same speed as other pets, but because of Brutal Mauling, they end up attacking less.

Also, I don't think Anthems work on it anymore. Should probably check.

EDIT: Ok they do. However, the only skills that do anything are useless on a pet.
