Exclamation Can i save time?

Hi,
im new here and was wondering if anyone could help me with a minor problem. Ive basically formatted my whole computer and began installing guildwars, to my surprise finding that i would need to download 15,000 new files on each map of guildwars. Which of course im not too pleased about as my download speed is capped at 90kbs when its full potential is 1000kbs. So i was wondering if anyone could direct me to a website where i could download these files externally, install them and start playing guildwars.

Regards Tim.

Create a copy of you GW icon, right click in and go to properties. In the box labeled target it should say something like "C:\Guild Wars\Gw.exe" There may be an extra folders before the Guild Wars installation directory. Type a space and add -image after the quotation, hit okay and then use the icon. It should now download and decompress all the files for Guild Wars. It will take some time though, depending on how many files you have already on your system decompressed. With your connection, I would suggest leaving it on over night and letting it run, as it might take upward of a few hours at 100kbps.

You may also want to disable Spybot S&D's Teatimer application, since it sometimes interferes with GW's patching system.
