What Has Been Confirmed Will Be Transfered To GW2 - Guild Wars Forums

I have read and heard loads of conflicting info on what can and can not be transfered to GW2 from GW1.

Some people say titles only.

Others say titles and mini pets.

Others say titles and certain items.

Others say titles, mini pets, items and armour.

Etc.

Would anyone be able to provide any links on statements by Anet or its staff regarding what can or more than likely be transfered.

And are the titles which are transferable to the Hall of Monuments visible to other players?

Thanks in advance and I am terribly sorry if this has been covered before.

If you click the hall of monuments tab on wiki you get this

The Hall of Monuments will be a feature of Guild Wars Eye of the North, as well as Guild Wars 2 and will be used to help tie the games together. Certain achievements will add monuments, and each monument will unlock something, such as an exclusive item or title, for a character on a linked Guild Wars 2 account.

Confirmed Guild Wars 2 unlocks:

Titles
Companions (Heroes and pets)
Weapons
Attire
Miniatures

Has their been any news on what the "certain achievements" are which unlock stuff in GW2?

Going off of the GW wiki again: "The Monument of Honour shows your titles and accomplishments, including finishing a campaign." That covers a few bits, I guess. It'd be nice if finishing elite missions do something. :P

Since the game is still 2 years away anything that is known now will most likely be changed by then so why even worry about it.

Attire means holiday hats, not armor...just to clear that up...i'm 99% sure..XD

Wow thanks so much for all the info.

Those pictures were really cool. Seems all your characters and their armour are shown. That certainly gives me the motivation to get nice armour for all my characters.

If you watch the demo vid, towards the end he goes into the Hall of Monuments.

He states the weapons that you can put into the Hall are only attainable from GW:EN.
Also, the Attire are armors collected from the 3 chapters.
