Default Can you mod Green Weapons

Just wondering if you can use weapon mod's on green weapons. It would be nice to have *even more* bonuses on them ^_^ such as more defence on my green hammer to balance out having no shield... But don't want to waste my money trying :P

-Thanks.

As stated afore, greens cannot be modded, because, would it really be his weapon anymore?

No. therfore, we can't mod greens.

P.S. the search button is underexploited, and can be found in the upper lefthand corner.

Probably the exact reason he asked the question.

I myself just got a hold of Elswyth's and Gargash's and wished to make them Fire/or air since I'm a R/E

And think it's ridiculous that you can't mod them...
So what if its "Their" bow... their dead now, lmfao.

Yea I totally agree Green weapons should be moddable. There's a lot of really hot looking green skins but they are totally WORTHLESS. It's not fair that the monsters get to have all these hot looking weapons but if we want a specific skin with specific mod stats we have to settle for some ugly default skin.

I'm glad that the new cantha weapons have quite a few nice greens that are actually good, but even those can still be modified somewhat(at least for me). I guess that's the good thing about the GW expansions...the next one better bring more new weapons and a ton more variety since we can't mod.

I'm mad GW took away the nice air staff that was available for eles when making a pvp. The fire and water staves got an improvement but the air is ugly.

really? So why is it that when I try to replace a mod on a green item it tells me that it is incompatable? Care to show proof of your modded green, or are you just going to go on calling people names?

and while we are at it, why did you bump a long dead thread and then post 3 times?

I'm going out on a limb here and thinking he's talking about customized.

Hang your head in shame Sam. Never call someone a "noob" when your response is noobish in itself. Anyone who has played the game for any length of time KNOWS that Greens can NOT be modded. What you did was customize your weapon. And shame on you for trying to sell it to someone else. Your credibility has been shot to hell. Maybe you should think twice before making anymore asinine posts.

Sure golds are better, but greens are much easier to get and still "perfect" in their own way.

Sam, if you could mod greens to "pimp them out" then no one would even come close to going for golds. Plus, golds and greens would be the same and greens would be just as easy to hunt as golds.
