Guru auction problems - Guild Wars Forums

I've been using this site's auction application since its inception, and until now there have been no issues other than slow load times.

Yesterday I purchased two items via the buy-it-now option, but the verification emails never arrived in my inbox. (I also checked the junk folder; they're not there either.) Now when I try to log back into my auction account it won't even let me in. I tried the password reset option, but then it said something about how the notification message failed to send.

So...I have two pending trades with no means of completing them. I cannot even find the IGN of the players whom I'm supposed to contact.

Help?

I'm having problems as a seller and buyer, and it's just becoming such a hassle On one auction, neither I nor the seller received any emails, and we still haven't contacted each other after nearly a week. On another auction, I'm unable to leave feedback for another seller even though they were able to leave me a comment, and it makes me really uncomfortable, as I said I would do the same. Then with all the n/a winners...

I'd really like to know what's going on and if this is something that can be addressed. The email problem is particularly frustrating, because it renders the entire auction system useless if people can't contact each other.

If you had read any of the other threads regarding the problems since the server change over, you would realize this is an ongoing problem.

The email system is not working.

You can however get your contact information by viewing the Auction details in both bidding and selling and contact the person in game.

I'm not sure why everyone seems to be relying so heavily on the emails... I personally never use them.

The bidding system is also not functioning properly, if someone bids on an auction, the server is not recording usernames, and lists the bidder as N/A. You can get around this problem by simply making your auctions Buy Out only and only purchasing via the Buy Out option until the system is fixed.

I'm sure the Auction Admins are working very hard to get these issues solved, and I for one really appreciate their time.
