Default Why!?!

Why are there so many nerfs? It's getting to the point where it is impossible to do anything in the game without dying several times.

The nerfs aren't the reason you're dying so much, it's either your level of ability or your build. Possibly both.

PvP balance.

Also if you die several times it's your fault, not the skill balances.

What do the patch notes say? They usually give an indication why a change was made.

Have you tried varying your tactics? Perhaps a skill was nerfed because it was too much of a crutch for people, or because it was performing way beyond what the developers thought it should.

Either way we, as players, are basically in a position w/ few options - either deal or stop playing. The choice is yours...

I'm tired of people complaining about this, they nerf skills so people dont take advantage of em, your just looking for the easy way out, and they are stopping that, their making you think about your build.

Play PvP, that way you only get 'skill balances'!

Its those darned pvp players to blame

Seriously though
We don't always like skill nerfs but then they are a challenge to try another build or try a different Prim/Sec combination etc.

Think of it as advanced playtesting which could well make GW2 a whole lot better.
Players are quite innovative when it comes to unusual skill combinations these often reveal weaknesses in the balance of skills not considered by the developers.
Usually these come about when new skills are added to the pool ie from Factions ot NF.

I like to moan about it when it happens though

If you're repeatedly dying I doubt very much it's because something has been 'nerfed'. There are very few skills that were screwed beyond playability (or they're at least pointless now). Maybe look at your build and playing style and adjust?

As long as there is PvP in this game skills will be changed.
