Ranger is always a fun choice, lots of variety of play styles.

I agree with free fall. Rangers are fun to play and useful pretty much everywhere.

Well, Obviously you are probably quite well versed in the various classes of the game due to the fact that you've been in all 4 chapters. I guess it would depend on what you're looking to do, and the role you like to play (or like to try).

- Obviously you've already done the tanking thing. If you really enjoy that role, I'd recommend the Dervish.

- If you want to play more of a versatile role without giving up on some of the damage, then try the Ranger, Ritualist or Paragon.

- If you're wanting to try the other side of the spectrum from the tank, then go with the Monk.

- If you want to do nothing but dish damage, try the Elementalist or Necro (although necro could be put in the support role due to some of the spells in the "blood" line).

- For an interesting challenge, try the Assassin or Mesmer. I consider these 2 classes the hardest in the game due to the fact that there's no real defined role for either class.
**The assassin can be used not only to inflict damage (get in, strike & get out), but it can impose conditions (blind, poison, deep wound and cripple) very quickly before retreating. The armor isn't that great, and the daggers on their own don't inflict massive amounts of damage, but when used in conjunction with certain skills can be very effective
**The main catch with the mesemer is that they deal mostly with hexes. They can be very effective, but it requires some thought and study of the game.

I have 1 of each of the classes, and, if you're asking my opinion, I like the ranger, monk and ele the best.

You've been through the games once, so you should know what to expect in each area and have a decent understanding of game mechanics. Perhaps a Mesmer might be up your alley - you're forearmed with the basic knowledge needed to play them effectively.

Although you could just as easily do a series of coin flips for choosing your next xharacter's profession. All of them have something different to offer and you'll always have a minimum of 8 character slots if you have all the games, so you may as well experiment with all of the professions to see which is the most fun for you
