If a piece of armor has an insignia slot, will it say so when u move ur mouse over it?

No, because most armors have an insignia slot. The only ones that don't are collectors armor and you can tell them apart by their art I believe.

All armors come with an insignia slot, except for a few collector armors (and festival hats). The ones that don't have insignia slots can be identified when you mouse over them - they say "Cannot be upgraded with an insignia"

The exceptions are the GW:EN collector armors
