How long for my Vanq title? - Guild Wars Forums

Ok so im planning on starting vanquishing tyria. I wanted to know how long it would take for me to get vanquishing tyria...... i usually get 6-12hrs a day

... when im not gvging... also how long does it take for Elona and Cantha vanquish?

depends on your builds. Each area can take anywhere from 45 min to 3 hours.

since there are 54 areas to vanquish in tyria...and it takes from almost and hour to 3 to do them (there are a few that are pretty small and can be done in 1/2 hour....) so it too early for me to find my math brain cells---so I will let you figure it out.

54 areas to vanquish for the Tyrian title. I figure about 1 hour to do each(with the smaller/earlier areas being faster and the larger late stage areas taking longer). So at the rate you play, 5-9 days provided you can get good groups/know how to use your heroes/henchies.

Average time it takes to vanquish one area is 1 hour, so if we take you will be vanquishing 6 hours per day if would take you 9 days to complete vanquish, but I believe the actual time (in days) for you to complete vanquish will be a lot longer because for about 98% of people vanquishing gets REALLY boring when they get about halfway through.

I'd say around 100-200 hours to vanquish Tyria. Cantha takes about 70 hour'ish. Elona I have not yet done because I keep stopping lol.

Semi-conservative estimate is:
- ~30 min. for areas with 150 monsters or less
- ~1 hr. for areas with 150~250 monsters
- ~1.5 hr. for areas with 250+ monsters

Cantha is shorter than usual, as the areas are small and high-density. Elona is annoying because of large, wide-open areas with spikes of density. Tyria is just huge, and the 4/6-man areas can be pretty build-dependant.

If you have the cash, consider investing in consumables just to save time. You really only need essences, unless you're actually having problems completing areas, in which case armors may be a good idea. Grails are largely useless.

Roughly Cartography + 50%, unless you're a really good runner as did cartography quickly.

My average time to vanquish an area is ~1 hour using H/H (across all 3 campaigns+EotN). Depending on your ability as a player, you could vanquish all of Tyria in about 60 hours.

Cantha is insanely quick because you can vanquish all the Luxon or Kurzick areas in an afternoon. You'd be looking at maybe 30 hours to vanquish the entire thing, but these areas tended to be <1hr avg. I'd also suggest checking wiki and doing the tricks to vanquish 3ish areas by only killing ~2 things.

Elona goes back to ~1hr avg vanquishes, but the areas are really easy. You'd probably do it in about 40 hours.

Any times I've given are without ANY consumables, so you could speed things up if you wanted to waste cash on essences and armors.

its more around 50-60 , maybe 70 hours depending o how fast you go
