Default Question on Armour

How does armour become "radient"?

I havn't played the game in a good 8-10 months (I only have Prophecies) and I want some new armour for my ranger. Only thing is, my current armour has much better specs (which I'm going to assume is this radience)

Help an old timer like me

There are armor Insignia that mod your armor. http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Insignia

You can mix and match them without buying different styles of armor.

Radiant insignia simply gives you more energy. Please think twice before using it. There are very few occaisions when you would need additional energy. Survivor, Blessed, or a Profession-Specific Insignia is often far more beneficial.

If you're a Ranger, consider Survivor or Scout's. Possibly Beastmaster's Insignia if you use a pet.

Ahh thanks.. When I logged into Guild Wars for the first time in a while a few days ago it turned out all my armour was radient. I didnt choose for it to be that, it just was.

Thanks anyway, with this I can now get a new armour set that will benefit me more

After the release of Nightfall, all earlier armor were updated to the insignia system.

So your Rangers Druids armor changed to an armor with Radiant Insignias, both giving you an energy bonus.
