I know pets can still gain experience while dead, but can dead or living pets gain experience while outside radar range? And can pets gain experience via accepting the rewards from a completed quest or mission outside a town or outpost? Thx

Pets don't get experience from quest rewards, not sure about missions. But 100% Sure they get experience while out of radar range (leveled my pet via. SS/LB farms that way) and that they cannot get experience from quests (pets don't level doing HFFF)

just lure your pet to the res shrine and have it kill you over and over again until it is lvl 20. Then tame it.. takes about 4 hours and you have a dire pet.
