Luxon / Kurzick Faction, Armor Question - Guild Wars Forums

This isn't related to the look or modifying of the armor just the crafting part of it...

So here goes... Currently I'm in a Kurzick Guild, with 609k Kurz donated to the alliance. Now, I'd really like to get the Luxon Ranger Top, that being said, atm i also have 1k UNSPENT Kurz Faction and 10k UNSPENT Luxon Faction, and have completed the "Befriending the Luxons" Quest...

If i leave my Kurzick Guild and Join a Luxon Guild, could i go to Calvalon and (having all of the supplies beforehand) purchase the luxon top, then switch back to my Kurzick Guild?

Or am i bound to getting 609k+ Lxon Faction and donate it before they sell to me?

(I've googled and searched here on the forums and found nothing, if there is something i'm sorry, but i did look beforehand :S)

You don't need to be in a Luxon guild to purchase Luxon armor, and the same with Kurzick. The Allegiance title doesn't matter either. You just need to have more unspent faction than the other side to be able to talk with NPCs of that faction.
