You may be right, but I thought it was for Content Updates. Here is the whole section.

Regardless of WHEN it comes.. the more important side of it is WHAT it will BRING with it. I think concentrating on that is more important then QQ 'me no get me moneys..me smash Anet...me smash " -_-.

Here hoping for somehtign interesting skill or content wise... any update for me anyhow is a good update regardless of that people "think" wether its right or wrong.. update is just that..,an UPdate not DOWNgrade =)

I don't think that they actually said that a skill update would happen this week although it wasn't denied either (you know the typical a-net stance of ZERO clear INFO)

but... tbh... I have gone beyond caring anymore

I won't even see Guild Wars because it is the US/EU Aion beta this weekend /derail ftw

April was meant to be the big update with skills etc but thats now 2 months late - even tho anet did make an apology as they were busy with the new content. So what happened - has it been shelved till after dragon fest ?
Giving new content is one thing but constant waiting for the big nerf/buff to skills is offputting - it does make us players feel that anet doesnt care that much for Gw.
Im not saying that is true but its how its starting to feel.New content is treated like a new toy till the novelty wears off and we remember what we were promised.

Look for the following to happen:
[this was leaked earlier this week somewhere on the net]

Palm Strike - longer recharge

Visions of Regret - functionality change [nerf]

Weaken Knees - duration/degen reduction
Lingering Curse -15 energy/5 recharge
Suffering - longer recharge

Savannah Heat - 15 energy
Ether Prism - longer recharge [thank God]

Spawning Power increase to 4% increased duration of weapon spells...BUT:
All good weapon spell durations are reduced

I would love to see real skill balancing done for once instead of just nerfing skills that people use too much...the main reason that some people overuse skills is that they are offered little to no alternatives to be creative...so instead of nerfing everything that gets used, consider strengthening useless skills to achieve a viable balance and promote variety...

add: Shadow Form- for 3...7...11 seconds this skill lasts, recharge at 35sec.

Or just disable the whole damn skill for 60sec. after use.

No people overuse skills because they are more powerful than other alternatives, not because there are none. Buffing the alternatives to match the power of the overused skills results in power creep which is bad. So the only choice is to nerf the overused skills or change functionalities.

Random buffs is a terrible idea as well.

I'm hearing that the Xunlai point update won't be until the end of June now. Totally retarded...they're already two weeks late. They should give us another "glitch" where we get double the points for having to wait a whole month for last month's points.

Source is from a guildie, she's logged out now so I can't ask her where she got it from. I'll have to ask her when she comes back. Of course it's not confirmed but yeah, it better not be the end of the month. Again, if it is, we better get double points again.
