$15 is a steal for this game.
think of what it COULD of costed...
4(years)x12(months)x12.99(monthly for WoW?Never played heh) =
more then what anyone should ever EVER EVER pay to PLAY a GAME.
EDIT i did the math for kicks and its over $600 for a single game hahahahahahahahaha. sorry.

I also play eve mostly as a full time MMO, and guild wars has been a great alternative for me when things are slow in my alliance in eve. I would say you should just get it, like the above posts its a one time fee and thats it. I used to play a lot of wow so GW gives me my fantasy genre mmo fix.

In terms of cost it gets my endorsement. GW isn't a financial strain. You can spend ten dollars on one of the campaigns(I know you can at least get Factions on Newegg for $10), play all you want, and never put down another cent. Like basically everyone else here has mentioned.

Personally - I've been playing since launch, and it's one of only a few games I have continued to play over the years.
