Default Discordway without ME using skills?

I've checked wiki several times, but all I can find are discordways with me using hexes to call targets. Is there a build that makes it so I don't have to?

a: bring a mesmer hero and ranger hero (8-man group)

b: remove 1 skill from each necro and replace with a hex/condition skill/spell

c: buy an elite assassin tome for 2k and get Assassin's Promise and use a condition skill/spell (OH NO YOU HAVE TO USE TWO SKILLS! ZOMG WHATEVER SHALL YOU DO!?)

d: when all else fails use sabway if you fail too hard to even hit 1,2 or click 1,2.

hope this helps.

Nope, but I do find it hilarious that someone wants an easy mode for easy mode...

My thoughts exactly. That's like supercharging a steamroller.

"Can I plz has build to beat game with no skill?"
"Sure, here you go!"

Lamers.

The point of me asking, is I'd rather go through as many missions as I know I can without dying while having an effective hero team. Running first into a fight to cast a hex doesn't seem like that great of a plan of survival to me.

Looks like the trolls are coming out of their caves -_-

I don't think I have ever died using discordway for general use (maybe in HM trying to do a dungeon while i was drunk)... you ping a hex/condition, run like a little pansy the other way and let the necros blow stuff up... I mean cmon seriously...

and for the record, only C & D were trolling....

The point of discordway is to spike shit one at a time. Without you calling, heroes won't attack the same target, and thus render the spike pretty ineffective. Discord isn't that great DPS by itself.

Most common use of Discord is with a player running A/x or x/A for use of Assassin's Promise and You Move Like a Dwarf. You can use those 2 skills at the same time since one is a shout. This provides your Discord heroes with the condition and hex they need to spam Discord. Since AP is a spell, you will be using it at caster range, not need to be running into melee for it. After you use it, you can move back a few steps to avoid aggro if it is important to you.

However, it sounds like you are trying to use this on a Survivor character and worried about dying. I wouldn't be doing HM as a Survivor unless having things run for you or doing Kilroys dungeon. If you run the build well, there really isn't many times things will die. Once you have minions, they are the ones dying, not your team.... unless you don't run things right.

I Like magma said, but if your doing survivor, i think your better off with sabway.

For NM, you'd be better off running a masochism MM with 11 level 20 minions than a Sabway MM bomber. Better DPS and tankage.

assassin's promise allows you to permanently maintain dark escape, that mean's you'll always take half damage. if your really feeling wussy. then micro weapon of warding and prot spirit on yourself before every battle as well.
