Try minipets and higher req voltaic spears. Anything that you see is generally selling for around what you can afford you should try to buy slightly lower then resell.

I used to start off with kuunavangs and mini gwens (months ago when gwen was worth something). Your best bet would probably be buying voltaic spears in umbral grotto or something and hoping to resell for a bit more.

Buy bulk mats, craft consets, sell said consets...as long as you are getting mats at fair prices, you should profit pretty decently - probably slower than buying highend items and reselling, but should provide a steadier income.

VS is a great way for a nublet to get some cash in their vault if they have the patience. Lots of people spam "wtb any req VS 100k+15e" all the time in Kamadan. All you gotta do is buy, say, a req 13 VS for 100k+5e and resell for a 10e profit. Ka-ching!

Easiest way IMHO, is to buy armbraces at 44/45 and sell for 47/48e. Its not a huge chunk of money to be made, but it does let you sit in kamadan, and give you an idea of what things are being sold for, and let you understand the market a tad bit.

I would not recommend this as a means to gain money, OP. It's not really powerselling if you are having a hard time trying to finding buyers. Armbraces are always being bought at 43/44e per and to pull in anything more than that is treading on near-impossible. Stick to the VS powersell-- it's much faster and a lot more profit to be had. The VS market is just plain and simply the best powersell there is right now for beginners.

I dont know about the VS, it seems to be a unstable market for it. Everytime i watch trade window i see 4-5 of them for sale at one time. so your gonna have to either buy one really low or wait a while to sell it.

This was brought up a few days ago. And many times before.

But the best thing to do is to go sit in Kamadan and read the prices people are willing to buy/sell stuff for, and remember the prices. If you see someone selling lower than normal, and you know the item will be sold at normal or maybe a higher price, buy it. And vise versa.

I don't know about this. I spend most of my time in the market (at least 3-4 hours a day) and I forever see "wtb VS spear any req". The fact that the market is "unstable" makes it even better for a powersell item. Why? Well... It's unstable! That means you can and will find a VS for cheap and find a buyer for a high price.

I agree with what your saying, but he is just starting to powertrade. Armbraces are anywhere from 44-51e atm. And will stay there for quite a while. The profit he will make might not be much, but it will be better then him not doing anything at all. Voltaic Spears are a good way to power trade too, same with Frog Scepters and BDS's. The number of all 3 of these items that have hit the market in the last year has grown incredibly. As a result the prices are gone down. But you can still sell them for quite a pretty penny if your a little patient at all.

And you aware that, as I stated already, selling an armbrace for higher than 45e is where the near-impossible line starts to come in, right? I am speaking out of experience from recently selling my last armbrace (of the 60 I had to sell) and I can vouch first hand how tough it is to sell armbraces at 45e alone.

Armbraces are just not worth powerselling. The income in profit is by far below that of a VS. A guaranteed 10e profit every 30 minutes compared to a 2-3e profit every 1 - 2 hours... Do the math. ^^

@OP: You said you have 100k+20e, correct? Well, invest 100k+5 into a VS and hold onto it and aim for no little than 100k+15e. Keep repeating this process until you get to a comfortable amount. Once/if you get into the 800e+ ranks then come back onto guru and we'll suggest more powerselling tricks (promotional mini pets, e.g.: oni, yeti, naga, ect) Asian mini pets are where the real gold lies.

Lena I don't know why your having issues selling braces above 45, but I sold 5 at 48e today, and bought them for 44e after spamming for about 15 mins. It might have been the time of day, or heck I might just have been lucky. But either way, its not that hard to sell for above 45e. I know myself, and fellow guild members/alliance members have been selling them at that for quite a while now.

1. Watch 'Wts', watch 'Wtb'.

I'd like to thank the hundreds of uneducated scrubs who sold me their underpriced goods over the years,
without them this guide and my inflated ego regarding all things GW trade would not have been possible!
