Question What happens when u die too many times?

I asked people in my alliance chat, TIG, what happens when u die too many times, people said that ur character dies permanently, is that true? It's kinda scary... all the quests, leveling, etc I done with this char.. and he can die forever cuz he reached too many deaths? Please Reply! P.S: Also tell me the deaths limit if the thing it's true...

Best regards,

Davy

nothing happens, got 3k+ deaths on my mesmer and nothing changes. you just lose your survivor title progress after the first death. and then - nothing.

Grenth rises from the earth, snatches your character while he/she is lying there helpless, then drags him/her off into the shadowy depths of the Underworld.

True story, pwomis!

Hahaha, really, nothing happens. Your character can die as many times as he/she pleases xD

No. You can't die forever. The worst that will ever happen, other than having to start missions over if everyone in the party dies, is that you'll get the death penalty down to -60% (to your health and energy, making life very difficult) until the next time you get to town or manage to work it off. Other than that, and the Survivor title, death is meaningless, no matter how often you die.

If it were true there would be no LDoAs in the game. Can't speak for others but mine took a bit over 115k to finish up. There is also some forum post floating around on here with some crazy guy that took the counter up over a mil just for kicks. As others have said, nothing happens.

Too bad your guild gave you incorrect information. I would be cautious when taking their advice in the future!

In real life happens that you get a VIP Pass to the graveyard.

In GW, happens nothing.

Probably from death leveling to get the LDoA title in pre-searing. Once you hit 16 there is no way to get XP without leveling up the monsters by letting them kill you, over and over and over.

Actually, if you die enough times, the counter goes over its limit and resets back at zero.

d/c itself is not a death, but your character is still on the map and can be killed while you're trying to reconnect.

Thy respect's the smart idea Shayne HaWeak. Thy has new way to obtain survivor. One must die 1,000,000,000,000 times I believe.

Beware... Death Farmers? Halloween laughs are your Spirit of Agony.
